Police had detected a Twitter user who posted disturbing remarks with bad intentions against the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, yesterday.
Following the revelation by Department of Civil Aviation which had officially declared the disappearance of Flight MH370 an accident and all 239 passengers and crew on board are presumed to have 'lost their lives', Najib had posted his condolences in Twitter.
“Today my thoughts are with the families of those on MH370. The search will continue. Msia, Aus & China remain committed to finding the plane,” he said.
The user, by the username Fazel with tweethandle @ollie_mollie had posted a reply to the Prime Minister saying that the disappearance of flight was not an accident, but a conspiracy instead.
“@NajibRazak jib jib..it’s not an accident, it’s a conspiracy,” he posted.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has instructed the Police Cyber Investigation Response Centre (PCIRC) of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to identify the identity of the Twitter user concerned and action to be taken against him.
“PCIRC @PDRMsia Sila kesan dan siasat 'Fazel' di bawah ini.. (PCIRC @PDRMsia Please track down and investigate ‘Fazel’ ),” Khalid posted with a screenshot of Fazel’s reply to Najib.
However, checks by New Straits Times showed that the original tweet was removed.
He told the New Straits Times that the tweet posted was seen as disturbing and posted with bad intention.
“We are trying to calm them (next-of-kin of MH370) down. So if you do not know what is really going on with MH370, do not be an ‘itchy mouth’(by) saying something senseless and uncorroborated by evidence,” he said. -NST-
